Atletico Madrid coach Diego Simeone has renewed his contract with the Spanish champions for another five seasons, keeping him at the club until 2020. Atletico has advanced to the quarterfinals of the Champions League and will next face Real Madrid. The team is also fourth in the Spanish league with 59 points, nine behind leader Barcelona.
